April UGA Cotton Team Newsletter and 2021 Virtual Production Meeting Videos

All,

It is that time of year again – temperatures are warming up and people are itching to plant cotton (Dr. Phillip Roberts planted some yesterday (4/6)). As you look to planting, please take a look at the April edition of the UGA Cotton Team Newsletter. There is a lot of good information including remaining UPW Trainings, insect management updates, planter maintenance, disease and nematode updates, irrigation system maintenance, physiological processes involved with cotton germination, and a note on PPO resistant Palmer amaranth in Georgia. Click the UGA Cotton Team Newsletter link on the left hand side of your screen to find the newsletter.

Additionally, the videos from the 2021 Virtual Cotton Production Meetings are now posted. Click the Presentations link on the left hand side of your screen to find those.

As always, if you need anything or have any other questions, please contact your local UGA county extension agent. Happy planting, and be safe out there!
