Attached here you can find our on-farm variety trial results for 2024. Once fiber quality data are received from the classing office, we will finalize these results. The results contained herein are complicated: early season challenges, virus induced bronze wilt, and two hurricanes all contributed to that. However, these results still show that there are good varieties for Georgia growers to choose from, and despite all of the challenges faced, many growers still had a great crop.
Thank you to the Georgia Cotton Commission, Cotton Incorporated, and our industry partners for their continuing support of this program, and to our county agents and grower cooperators for all their hard work.
